The Lincoln Potters concluded their inaugural season with a trip to the playoffs. Unfortunately they were not able to advance to the championship round.
It was an exciting season, with a top-rated organization that brought the Lincoln community together through baseball, service and family fun.

I had a great opportunity to take a flight in the skies above Lincoln. Local pilot, Michael Kirk, offered to take me on the flight to capture some aerial photos of McBean Park for the Friends of McBean Park.

The Lincoln Potters baseball team welcomed fans to McBean Stadium on Monday evening for a Fan Fest. Before game time, local youth were treated to a baseball skills clinic with Potters team members.
The Potters played an intra-squad exhibition game and invited fans to an autograph session on the field after the game.
The Lincoln Potters are members of the Great West League (GWL), a college summer wood-bat league. GWL has teams in Oregon and California, including the Chico Heat, Medford Rogues, Marysville Gold Sox and the Portland Pickles.
The 2017 season begins in late-May and the first home game for the Lincoln Potters will be on June 1st. More information about the team can be found at the team website.

The annual Lincoln Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony was well-attended by Lincoln locals on Saturday. The downtown streets were lined several people deep as floats passed by showcasing businesses, schools, youth groups and civic leaders.
