The former City Hall building sits at the north end of Beermann Plaza in downtown Lincoln. The Lincoln Area Archives Museum occupies the first floor of the building.

The Lincoln Area Archives Museum is located in the former City Hall building on Beermann Plaza in downtown Lincoln (640 Fifth Street). The museum is staffed with volunteers who receive, research and display a variety of artifacts and memorabilia from Lincoln’s past.
Admission is free and the museum is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On the first Saturday of the month, the museum is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
